Students will have an open-book assessment on Monday, December 10th. They will be able to use their text and their review sheet!

Workbook pg. 66 is due tomorrow.  The chapter Review is due on Friday, November 30th.  The chapter test will be on Monday, December 3rd.

The chapter 8 test will be given on Tuesday, November 6th. The review assignment is due on Wednesday, October 31st.

On Tuesday, students will complete a review assignment in preparation for the test. On Wednesday, we will play Kahoot using the ipads. On Thursday, we will take the chapter 7 test during the first period that I have them.  During the second session, the students will be completing a Florida Everglades packet.  On Friday, we will use the ipads to research some introductory facts about the Midwest. (Questions will be provided).

This week we are continuing with the early history of the Southeast by focusing on early settlements and early U.S. leaders. The class is also researching Monticello.   After reading about two abolitionists, students are assigned a poster which is due Thursday, 10/4.  Also please note that the first current event write-up was due today.

This week we are continuing with our study of the Southeast Region, with our focus being on the people and places which helped to shape it.  The Cherokee will be featured.  Students also received a current event assignment which is due on Tuesday, October 2nd.  A list of websites to be possibly used as resources has also been included.  Remember that Friday is a 12:00 dismissal!

Today we took a textbook scavenger hunt.  We will begin learning to take notes via outlining this week as well!
